DYSTOCIA

HISTORY
Near to parturate
Owner told that animal was having temperature and he came with the query to know either fetus was dead or live..more over he told that he observed animal straining from previous 2 to 3 days..

DIAGNOSIS
Dead fetus when ultrasound was performed.. fetus was present in anterior longitudinal position..it was suspected that fetus died because of some systemic infection... cervix was open... head felt on palpation.... blood and fetal fluid came...

TREATMENT
legend 10 (50 ml) 1+1 ( morning and evening)
ketoject (50ml) 1+1 ( morning and evening) for 3 days..
I nj dexamethasone...
I/v milfone C

Age: 2.5 years

History:
Same animal came on 20-1-2015 on therio clinic at 11:00 am for A.I . Heat signs observed by the owner were mucous discharge from vagina on 19-1-2015 night.  Also heifer was bellowing.
Clinical Examination:
 There wass mucous discharge on rectal palpation on 20-1-15. On Rectal palpation of  heifer there was tone in uterine horns . On ultrasound examination there was 9.9 mm follicle on right ovary. A.I of heifer was done and owner was asked to come again on next day.
On 21-1-2015 today same animal came at about 1:00 pm. There was thick  mucous discharge on rectal palpation . Tone in uterine horns.
On Ultrasound Exam:
   11.2 mm follicle on right ovary.
Treatment:
    Double A.I
         on 20-1-15 &   21-1-15
       Bull no: KWS-440
Discussion: Follicle is near to ovulate so bright chance of conception due to double A.I.
